Sulaimani Museum

The sulaimani museum is an archaeological museum founded in (July/1961) in a small house in the Shorsh quarter of Sulaimani. In 1980 the museum moved to its current premises on Salim Street. As the second largest museum in Iraq, its collections span the entire Mesopotamian civilization and include unique objects from the Neolithic the Ottoman periods.
